I didn’t think this game would be quite the hit that it is. My first graders love it. It is always their first choice when choosing games. I like how it is versatile. We can change how we play but the first graders are still learning. This game helps with word chunks, rhyming, reading, initial sounds, long vowels, short vowels and more. I recommend to all to buy this for your beginning reader -5year old to-average 6 year old to-struggling 8 year old.

I play this game with 4th grade students who have a lower reading level. They love it! I use it to reinforce short and long vowels, word families, and as a reward for working on other not so pleasant tasks. The students beg to play it.
